Company Overview: True Edge Performance Solutions, LLC, founded in 2000, is a tightly knit group of psychologists and MBAs based in Lancaster, PA. We work closely with business owners and executives to accelerate individual, team, and organizational performance. We primarily serve privately held companies with annual revenue under $100M, but also work with some larger corporations and non-profits. Job Summary and Key Responsibilities: In this position, you will serve as a trusted adviser to business owners, executives, managers, and nonprofit leaders – helping them to grow themselves, their people, and their organizations. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, so our solutions are tailored to fit the needs of each organization … respecting the values, cultures, goals, and other particulars of their situations. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) cultivating authentic business relationships and serving clients in the following areas: executive/leadership coaching and development; family business consultation; leadership transitions; psychological assessments; culture and strategy; talent management; workplace relationships and conflict resolution; governance, and other areas where expertise in human behavior and relationships can enhance organizational health and performance.

Required Qualifications and Skills:
• Ph.D. in I/O or Clinical Psychology (licensed where applicable)
• Strong written and oral communication skills
• Effective presenter
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities
• 5+ years business consulting, leadership, and/or executive experience
• Proficient technology skills (including MS office)
• Able to administer and interpret psychological assessments, and deliver feedback
• Organizational development experience (preferred)

Values and Personal Characteristics: We are looking for an enterprising psychologist who embodies our core values and is:
• Humble and trustworthy
• Smart, organized and responsible
• Driven to excel and see clients get the credit
• Emotionally intelligent– self-aware, able to read and command a room, navigate challenging interpersonal situations, and keep it together under stress
• Professional, but not stodgy nor prone to taking themself too seriously
• Genuine – brings their authentic self to work
• A servant leader — possessing an “others first” mentality toward their teammates and clients
• A developer of others–truly enjoys people and loves to see them grow and succeed
• A continual learner
• Skilled in (or at least eager to learn) consultative selling
• Confident and comfortable interacting on a professional level with highly accomplished men and women
• Straightforward, yet diplomatic
• Highly prepared approach to their work, yet able to think on their feet
• Biased toward action –willing to try hard things and able to learn from failure

We deal with entrepreneurs who are motivated by growth and generally embrace the virtues of capitalism. Many of these individuals also prioritize traditional values and ethics. Successful candidates must therefore be favorably disposed toward free market systems and genuinely accepting of persons who hold traditional values as well as progressive ones.

Work Schedule and In-Office Expectations: Full-time. Four or five-day work schedule, with flexible hours. There may be occasional evening meetings to accommodate client needs (e.g., attendance at client board meetings or executive retreat sessions, etc.). Weekend work is very rare, and again dependent on client needs. Some remote work is permissible, but this is an in-person position, where near-daily presence in the office or at client locations is expected. Most of our clients are within a one-hour drive of our Lancaster offices, though we have a growing number of clients from other regions or states, requiring virtual meetings and/or occasional longer-range travel.

Compensation: For the first three months of employment, compensation shall be $40,000 ($120K annual equivalent), plus additional bonus if modest productivity expectations are exceeded. Thereafter, compensation is based on productivity. As an example, an individual producing 24 hours of billable work each week (i.e., where 60% of their hours in a 40-hour work week are billable), working 48 weeks out of the year, will receive approximately $202K in annual compensation, including 3% retirement match. Additional benefits are included and will be disclosed upon second interview.

Equity Opportunity: Those performing well over a three-year period may be eligible to earn or purchase stock.

Note to Clinical Psychologists: If you are business-minded, ready to re-tool, have leadership and management abilities, and are open to applying your skills to business settings, you will likely find this to be a refreshing next stage of your career. Our work draws on a similar skillset and offers many of the same rewards that drew you to clinical work, yet brings few of the daily hassles/constraints you are probably encountering in our complex and bureaucratic healthcare industry.
