Alexandra Robelo, PsyD
Community Domain Early Career and Graduate Student Lead:

Dr. Alexandra Robelo, Psy.D., is a health psychology resident at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. She recently earned her doctorate in Clinical Psychology from The George Washington University and will begin her postdoctoral fellowship at Brickell Psychology in Miami, Fl in the fall of 2025.

Her clinical training spans community mental health, school-based services, and academic medical centers. She has worked across a range of medical specialties, including bariatric surgery, burn care, integrative medicine, urology, addiction and pain medicine, and pediatric hematology/oncology and bone marrow transplant. Her work is grounded in the belief that health outcomes improve when care addresses the whole person, not just their symptoms, and recognizes the interconnectedness of mind and body. Her time as a clinician has underscored the importance of flexibility -in both providers and the structures that support them- in order to meet patients where they are and foster sustainable, long-term well-being.

With a background in Management Consulting from the University of Notre Dame and early career experience in the consulting field, Dr. Robelo brings a systems-oriented lens to her work. She hopes to use her background to support organizations in building cultures that are not only effective, but also adaptive and responsive to the people they serve.

Through her role on the Society for Consulting Psychology’s Community Domain Team, she looks forward to fostering connection and dialogue among members, creating space for meaningful exchange, collaboration, and community within the organization.
