Rodney and Stewart explain how complex ethics can be for organizational consultants, especially as they frequently must navigate multiple relationships in their engagements. They describe how the book takes readers through a structured way of looking at ethics in consulting and gives real-world case examples to illustrate the principles.

Special guest host Dr. Daniel Lattimore interviews Dr. Joanie Connell about her book, Consulting to Technical Leaders, Teams, and Organizations: Building Leadership in STEM Environments. Daniel asks probing questions to get Joanie to tell stories about her past that she has never shared before. Joanie talks about her experience working as an electrical engineer and how she became interested in studying psychology to help technical people communicate better with each other.

Joanie and Nick interview Drs Vandaveer and Frisch about their book, Coaching Psychology: Catalyzing Excellence in Organizational Leadership. Vicki and Mike tell vivid stories about what led them to write the book, what kind of consulting they do, and what differentiates coaching psychology from other forms of coaching in organizations. Vicki and Mike are both I/O psychologists who worked together early in their careers.

  Joanie interviews Drs. Laurie Moret and Carroll Greene, authors of Consulting Psychology in National Security Organizations. Laurie and Carroll talk about how their different backgrounds in working in national security complement each other and how they interviewed many others in the field to create detailed case examples for the book. Joanie observes how useful these examples are to consultants to read no matter what industry they are in.
